1. First thing you will need is some hotfix crystals that are easily available in the market or you can place an order online.
2. Your home iron to fix the crystals.
3. Apparel washed and dried.
Get ready to get the desired dress with these steps:
1. Place the apparel on a clean place with the side where you wish to put the design in front.
2. Place hotfix crystals on the design neatly.
3. Heat the iron for some time.
4. Press the crystals with the previously heated iron slowly.
5. Place it in a cold n dry space so that the apparel dries soon.
6. There are some tips I have come across which is taken care of will lead you to a better diamante.
Tips to do it effectively:
1. Always choose small crystals, they are easy to stick on and create less mess.
2. When heating your iron take-care of the degree it heats up to. If the iron is too much heated it may burn the crystals and who wants to burn those lovely little things!
3. Press the iron only for 10-15 seconds at first and see if it's done. If not then only press the hot iron any longer.
4. Do not touch the fabric after you have completed the crystal work on it. Try to leave the fabric untouched for at least 24 hours.
5. Never heat the fabric once you have placed the crystals on it, severe heating may damage the apparel as well as the crystals.
6. Always put some hard sheet under the first layer of your apparel so that heat may not damage other layers of the dress.
